Client: Cutting Edge Concrete – Jamie Kovach and Chad Shrum

Design: Jamie and Chad need a website designed for their stamped concrete company that would primarily serve as a portfolio. Most of the people who visit their site go there specifically to browse through their installation photos, so creating and organized and interesting gallery was my primary focus. All of their images were categorized and filtered into one of 4 galleries that were displayed with a unique hover effect. The slideshows for each gallery are user-friendly, modern, and sophisticated and show off their work wonderfully.

Client: Bella Yoga and Wellness – Pamela Fowler Lordi

Design: My client Pamela also wanted me to design her new website. I started by using an outline of the flower illustration from the logo and applied it at a larger scale for the custom background. The header was created using the logo and her tagline. I developed a custom footer slideshow using a combination of photos of yoga poses that she provided and some nature/texture images that supported the ideas of her brand. I incorporated small graphic flowers derived from her logo for bullets and a decorative post footer. Please click on the image or on the link above to experience the entire site.

Design: When my client Julie from Bloom Yoga and Wellness decided to pick up her business and move it to Connecticut, she needed someone to take over her existing client base here in Colorado. My new client Pamela was thrilled to take on the challenge. She asked me to design her logo and all of her print materials under the new business of Bella Yoga and Wellness. She had loved the look and feel of what I had created for Julie but wanted her own distinct brand. I used plum, chartreuse, blues, and pink as the base of this new brand. The colorful and playful floral design is also modern and fresh. The typography gives it an edge of sophistication and class.

Client: Bloom Yoga & Wellness – Julie Wallace
Scope: Logo and  Brochure
Design: Bloom Life Coaching is another offshoot of the Bloom Yoga and Wellness brand. Again, to keep this logo cohesive with the others, I used the same color scheme and gradient background as well as the Bloom Flower. Julie wanted this logo to feel a little stronger and less feminine, so I used a bold serif font in addition to the traditional Bloom typography.

Design: My client Julie from Bloom Yoga and Wellness had decided to expand her business and create some offshoots of her Yoga brand we had previously created. Blooming Bellies is a PreNatal Yoga program for expecting mothers. Julie wanted this new logo to be consistent with the branding we had already established so we kept the soft blue/green gradient background and the same Bloom text. I also incorporated the bloom flower into the belly and embellished it with some swirls.

Design: Cory Maupin Sales needed a fresh new look for their existing website. They wanted a clean, modern design that incorporated their company’s signature pop of red. Their site features a dynamic landing page with a slideshow of advertisement images. Because their business provides a multitude a various flooring and surface materials, I incorporated watermark images of these products on each page.

Client: Danza Dance Academy – Denise Danzo
Scope: Promotional Post Card
Design: The client wanted a new look for various promotional print materials. I created this vibrant color scheme to be applied across these new marketing pieces to give them some life and excitement. The typography is fun and child-like and the graphics are feminine and modern.

Client: Pool Boy Rejects – Jason McNabb

Design: Pool Boy Rejects is a group of college boys who do various home improvement labor tasks during the summers. They wanted a logo that was fun, cool, and grungy that they could use on future marketing material.

Client: Talia Strahler
Scope: Logo & Flyer
Design: Talia is an extremely smart and personable high school student who is looking to make some extra money tutoring other students. She needed a simple informational flyer to promote her services and gain clients. I designed the book logo which represents the various areas of study she can tutor in. The typography resembles a typewritter font which subtly relates back to the educational theme. I incorporated the logo into a flyer that she can easily print on her own printer. It clearly organizes all of her information into 3 bordered boxes. The playful pattern reflects Talia’s friendly personality.

Client: Bloom Yoga & Wellness – Julie Wallace

Design: After previously designing various print material for Bloom Yoga & Wellness, the client wanted to reflect these designs in a new website for her company. I teamed up with my husband, Dan Murphy, to create this website for her. All of the colors and graphics are derived from the previous design work I had done for Julie which creates a consistent brand image for her. We incorporated a slideshow of images that link to the various pages as well as navigation bars which allow for multiple browsing options. Overall, the site is designed to reflect the calming nature of the Yoga practice while promoting her business as a professional and desirable studio.
